What MeridianWay does (and doesn't do)
MeridianWay is a fully static application: it has no server of its own, creates no user accounts, and stores no personal data in any database. All calculations (sun position, shadow scoring) run directly in your browser.
Data sent to third-party services
To function, the application sends certain data to external services. These services receive your IP address along with the data listed below.

Geolocation is optional and only triggered if you click the location button.
Cookies and local storage
MeridianWay uses no cookies. No data is saved in your browser's local storage.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the GDPR for users in the European Union, you may at any time request details of what data concerning you has been processed. Data transmitted to third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies.
